As illustrated by Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs¹, we as humans have a fundamental need to belong to community.
When we feel loved and cared for by others, our survival-oriented parts² relax, and we have much greater access to parts of ourselves specialized for living out our purpose and enjoying the sweetness of life.
In other words, once our physiological and safety needs (living in a safe environment, having access to basic necessities) are met and we feel like we belong to a community where we feel *truly accepted and loved unconditionally, we then begin to access and understand our value as an individual member of humanity at large.
We are able to access our authentic self (developing Esteem) and embody our purpose and the unique contributions we wish to make in the world (process of self-actualization).
This is much like the chakra system with the root chakra (responsible for safety and security) needing to be stable first so that the solar plexus (self-esteem) and heart (belonging, love) and throat (self-expression, self-actualization) chakras can have a solid foundation to be built upon.

*The reality here is that modern-day, many people struggle to find belonging in a community where they feel truly seen, accepted, and loved unconditionally. Many have lost connection with their roots, as centuries of migration have displaced the psychologically bolstering effect of being in the vicinity of generations of familiars.
The truth is that our ancestors carry the energetics of our physical existence. Our physical body comes through our ancestors. Thus, our ancestors carry the life force of our lineage which holds all the stories, lessons, wisdom, and blessings that are uniquely tailored to guide, prepare, warn, and assist us on our life journey.
What we see nowadays as a result of all the emigration out of homelands that has occurred, is that this lineage life force has increasingly weakened such that younger generations no longer have access to the stories, life lessons of their ancestral communities.
Millennials and those from Generation Z live in isolation more than ever in the name of ‘independence’ with increasing moves from rural to urban areas.
Depression is at an all-time high³.
Even when you look at some members of these generations, they seem to lack the vitality and vigor that was so notable in older generations that lived in large communities of people where they shared struggles, celebrations, and had each other to lean on.
This is why Ancestral Healing work is so important, because it revitalizes the energetics of your entire ancestral lineage, making it so that the blessings that are your birthright are rightfully restored to you, even when you cannot be in physical proximity to familiars.
In Ancestral Healing, we work to heal generational trauma at the root, going all the way back to the generation the original wounding began in, and rippling all the way forward to you and your descendants.
Clients immediately notice the shifts that happen for them energetically which may soon begin manifesting in blessed new experiences, reconnections, as well as opportunities in career, finances, love, and belonging.
