Self-worth: the value you assign to yourself.
How do you value yourself?
Do you value yourself based on how you look? What you wear? Who you talk to?
Do you value yourself based on your thoughts, your ideas, your inherent quality of character? Whether you help others? Whether you are kind to others?
Self-worth is knowing your importance regardless of anything that happens in the external world.
Self-worth is forgiving yourself for mistakes.
It is knowing that mistakes are a part of life and that no one is a robot. Hence no one is perfect.
Mistakes are perfect. Their humanness is real and perfect.
Real is always perfect. Because it is.
Real is always beautiful.
Self-worth is not basing your sense of self-approval on the outer world.
Or the judgments of others.
Their judgments are just expressions of the areas in which they lack self-love.
I tell you this, love yourself wholly, forgive yourself purely in every circumstance, always give yourself the benefit of the doubt, exercise self-compassion, and your life will be beautiful like the radiant sun.
Do not bow down to the shadow, do not entertain doubt or self-criticism for even a second.
Instead, love yourself. Hug yourself. Have compassion for yourself. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt. Stay positive. Forgive yourself. Making mistakes is part of being human.
We don’t have to be perfect. No one is perfect. There is always room for growth and improvement if that is something one chooses, and it can only truly be done with unconditional self-love. <3
Always understand your reasons and show yourself compassion. <3
Every human being, under all circumstances, is worthy of love. True, divine love.
