Global Balancing of the Yin-Yang Scales

Healing the Layers of Consciousness: Integrating the Inner Child, Ancestral Lineages, and Sacred Feminine-Masculine Energies

Every layer of consciousness (see Layers of Healing) exists in a symbiotic relationship, whereby it influences every other layer of consciousness.

I like to understand and explain things from a high-level, as it provides a clearer picture of how each of us is part of the greater whole. Not only do collective energies influence each of us as individuals, but our own healing (or lack thereof) also influences the collective.

My coaching and therapy work with my clients centers around:

  1. Healing and integrating their Inner child
  2. Healing their Ancestral Lineages
  3. Balancing their Feminine-Masculine Energies

The 3 collective consciousness energies in need of healing and rebalancing in the world at this time, are the energies of the younger you (your inner child), your ancestral lineages (all the people who came before you who impacted your childhood and continue to influence you on an unconscious level), and the feminine-masculine (the yin-yang polarities contained inside of you).

Every client that I have worked with thus far has exhibited the interconnected relationship between these 3 layers of consciousness at work in their life. In other words, their unique ancestral history has impacted the state of their inner child, consequently impacting their romantic and social life.

These 3 collective consciousnesses are all interlinked. Everyone who came before you (aka your ancestors) laid the foundation of the survival imprints you adopted. In other words, your ancestral consciousness impacts how you do life. It affects everything from your beliefs and karma around money, love, and recreation to child-rearing, health, and beauty.

Your inner child is the energetic imprint of your innocent, blank-slate mind (roughly up until the age of 7) which picked up beliefs and behaviors from its environment, consequently becoming colored with narratives about self and other people. This layer of your consciousness (see Layers of Healing) is strongly influenced by your ancestral consciousness. The way in which your ancestors raised children and went about home and family life gets passed down through the generations and impacts how your parents raised you, consequently dictating the narratives you adopted early on.

How healed and integrated your inner child is with your adult self, subsequently impacts how balanced you are in your feminine and masculine polarities. In other words, unhealed inner child imprints related to the mother or father relationships will influence the degree to which you are able to embody sacred femininity or masculinity, as well as, how balanced you are in these two energies.

For instance, there is a lot of ancestral healing needed in the world at this time with regard to the masculine-feminine imprints that got passed down through the generations. Historically, the feminine collective energy has been in a state of suppression by toxic masculine energy that sought to dominate and control (see The Subtle Erosion of the Feminine Principle).

Through all the survival fears that got implanted into our ancestors’ minds, the masculine collective learned to embody a harsh, cold demeanor where any display of emotion was considered ‘un-masculine’ and ‘weak.’

Consequently, little girls who grew up with unaffectionate, critical, or even abusive fathers learned to put their big girl pants on and fend for themselves by becoming self-sufficient and independent.

They learned to not rely on men.

Hence, the pendulum of the feminine collective shifted toward a more masculine embodiment in order to survive and make a living in this world.

In turn, this has impacted the relationship dynamic between men and women. The feminine collective has adopted a lack of trust toward the masculine collective. Simultaneously, traditional men within the masculine collective pull back in a state of confusion, not knowing how to approach hyper-independent women. They start feeling not good enough and a sense of comparison and competition may even implant itself as they think – ‘wow, she’s better at being a man than I am. I don’t really have anything to offer her. She’s better off without me.’

Additionally, the masculine mirroring from women breeds further insecurity for some men as they believe that an independent woman only wants to be with them for their money as she’s succeeding at embodying all the other masculine qualities herself.

In reality, women are only acting out the generational trauma of the collective ancestry. They are putting on a shell of masculinity in order to operate and be respected in this world, while at their core, they want (and have always wanted) to receive and feel safe, nurtured, and taken care of.

This is a call for both men and women to return to the core essence of the genuine energetic qualities of sacred masculinity and femininity.

These energies of masculinity and femininity are what need to be in a harmonious balance for a romantic relationship to feel secure and fulfilling. A man ought to show up in the energy of a protector and a provider – a safe energy that envelops his feminine with comfort.

A woman ought to show up in the energy of nurturance, care, and consideration – an affectionate, inspiring energy that helps a man feel seen, understood, and safe to open his heart.

What both men and women forget here is that at their core, women just want to be loved, nurtured, and provided for. It is only due to our collective history of trauma that women unconsciously chose to embody anything less than their sacred feminine self.

This is why I love ancestral work (stay tuned for upcoming posts on this deeply significant line of my work) – eons of generational trauma that created survival issues and broken homes result in inner child wounds (more to come on this line of my work as well) which create relationship issues later down the road.

The masculine imprint of the husband and father (with his own wounded inner child) was trying his best to earn a living and provide for his family.

We’ve been in this paradigm of traditional men settling for a nuclear family with wife and children because it was the ‘expected thing to do’ at that stage of their life. And now we have growing numbers of men who regret having taken that route and having ‘messed up their life.’

Later on in life, they look for a sense of freedom, acceptance, and belonging and a ‘do-over’ on their own terms, thinking “I’ve done what was expected of me, and now I want to live freely on my own terms.”

There can be fear and judgment in the feminine collective, viewing these types of men as selfish, yet the collective shift of greater embodiment into the feminine is calling women to have more compassion and empathy for the masculine. It hasn’t been easy for them either.

They’ve had to endure the weight of providing for their entire family, often in foreign lands, with little to no ancestral backing or support.

Their free will was limited in a lot of ways.

All of these paradigms are so interconnected (see Layers of Healing) – as ancestral lineages heal, the inner child has the opportunity to heal (I’ve personally been in the depths of my own inner child integration), and the sacred feminine and masculine then have a chance to be embodied.

This is all part of the grander shift in consciousness that is happening at this time. As ancestral lineages heal and blessings become restored, survival energy and having to do what is expected is transitioning gradually into an energy of thriving.

Being able to choose what we do, where we live, and who we love.

Everything in life falls into place when the energetics of the different layers of your consciousness are healed and in harmony.
